Opus Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-03-14

1. Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Opus, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms are between you and Cyberic Limited (“Company”), the provider of Opus.

2. Service Description

Opus provides AI-generated music introductions and related product features, including music-source integrations, localized content, and subscription-gated listening and learning features.

Generated content is informational and may contain mistakes, omissions, or outdated details. You are responsible for how you use generated output.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must comply with applicable laws and platform rules when using Opus.

Opus is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required for data processing under applicable local law.

Opus does not currently require a standalone in-app account, but some features may require valid device verification, music-service authorization, subscription entitlement checks, or other service checks.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • bypass security, abuse protections, or evade usage limits
  • use the service in ways that violate law or third-party rights

5. Inputs and Outputs

Your Inputs

You are responsible for input data you provide (for example, music metadata like title, performer, album, composer, movement, track/work details, and locale preferences), and you represent that you have rights to use that data.

AI Outputs

You understand and agree that:

  • outputs are generated by AI based on provided metadata
  • outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, interpretive, or outdated
  • outputs do not constitute professional, educational, legal, or other expert advice

You should independently verify important information before relying on it.

6. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Feedback

Opus uses analytics and diagnostics tooling, including Firebase services, to monitor app reliability, subscription and purchase events, and usage patterns, and to improve the app.

If feedback features are provided, feedback submitted by users may be used to improve the app and generated intro quality.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features, if any, are billed through platform providers such as Apple. Pricing, trial availability, billing cadence, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and related purchase flows are governed by the applicable platform terms and your local law.

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it renews automatically unless canceled through the applicable platform before renewal. Access to paid features depends on an active entitlement recognized by the platform and our service checks. Restore functionality may be provided where supported by the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, branding, and related service materials are owned by Cyberic Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services

Opus may rely on third-party services and integrations, such as platform services, analytics and crash-reporting providers, cloud and AI infrastructure providers, and optional music-service integrations. Their availability and behavior are outside our direct control and subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opus is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opus and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data/profits arising from your use of the service.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

13. Changes to Service or Terms

We may modify the service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded.
